Affiliate Partners

National Wildlife Federation affiliates greatly enhance our ability to protect wildlife and natural resources. These autonomous, nonprofit organizations take the lead in state and local conservation efforts and partner with the Federation on a wide variety of national and regional issues.

Affiliation is a voluntary relationship, with only one affiliate per U.S. state or territory. This diverse network of affiliate partners elects key members of the Federation's leadership and sets conservation policy priorities through an annual resolution process. Read our affiliate policy resolutions here.

Alabama Wildlife Federation

The Alabama Wildlife Federation is the oldest and largest nonprofit conservation organization in Alabama. The federation was established by sportsmen in 1935 to promote the conservation and wise use of wildlife and natural resources, and to ensure a high quality of life for future generations of Alabamians.
