Real-Life Wildlife Habitat Gardens

Certified Wildlife Habitat: John Magee

Habitat gardens can be created in a variety of locations and sizes!

Window and patio planters in urban apartments and businesses, backyard gardens, school gardens, as well as habitat gardens in large venues such as college campuses, zoos, and aquariums are just a few examples of where habitat gardens can be created.

The size of the habitat does not matter, as long as the five requirements—food, water, cover, places to raise young, and sustainable gardening—are included in the habitat garden.

Habitat gardens of all shapes and sizes help wildlife in our cities and towns, as well as help people connect with nature.
