Where We Work

The Rio Grande Riparian Connectivity Initiative is kicking off with a focus on the Upper Rio Grande of New Mexico and Colorado, from the Rio Grande headwaters in Colorado’s San Juan Mountains to the Pueblo of Cochiti in Northern New Mexico. Although focused on a discrete geographic region, the initiative is intended to serve as a template for application elsewhere in the Southwest (and indeed, across the country) to enhance the protection and restoration of riparian corridor networks.
