Amanda Fuller is the Regional Executive Director of National Wildlife Federation’s South Central Region, based in Austin, Texas. In this role, she oversees the Federation’s regional education and conservation programs and contributes to the Federation’s national initiatives. She joined the Federation in 2013, and has served as Texas Policy Specialist, Deputy Director of the Gulf Program, and most recently, Director of the Texas Coast and Water Program, including the collaborative and longstanding Texas Living Waters Project. Amanda’s expertise is in advancing water and coastal policies for the benefit of people and wildlife, as well as equitable nature-based solutions to natural hazards being exacerbated by climate change.
Amanda previously worked for the World Wildlife Fund where she advanced international water law and policy, with a focus on the Rio Grande River. Amanda holds a law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law, with a focus on environmental and water law, and an undergraduate degree in Political Science and International Relations from Texas Christian University.
